StaffLink webmail Login
StaffLink is your gateway to the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), FMIS (Financial Management Information System) and iProcurement.
All NSW Health staff have access. StaffLink provides password-protected, on-line self-service services such as viewing and printing pay slips, viewing holiday rights (ADO, AL, SL and LSL), viewing and updating personal details.

How to Change StaffLink password ?
- Log into HETI Online here hetionline.health.nsw.gov.au.
- Enter your 8 digit StaffLink ID.
- Enter your password.
- Click Login.
- Tap My Details in the top right hand corner.
- Click the Change your password link.
- Enter your current password, new password and confirm your new password.
- Click Submit.
Forgot or Problem StaffLink username or password
Save time and reset your password online by clicking the ‘forgot password’ on the StaffLink login.

What is a StaffLink ID?
StaffLink ID is the NSW health employees numbers. Students will receive a StaffLink ID and password as they begin placement at NSW Health. To complete the mandatory training you will use your StaffLink ID to gain access to NSW Health Applications Online such as NSW Health Online Learning Management System (HETI Online). You will use the same StaffLink ID for all your placements in NSW Health.
When and how will you receive or forgot StaffLink ID?
Receive or forgot StaffLink ID
You will be emailed your StaffLink ID and temporary password when you are first assigned a placement starting within 14 days. The email will come from EHNSW-NSWHealthStudentOnlineAccounts@health.nsw.gov.au. If you have previously received a StaffLink ID and have changed your password, and you will continue to use this same StaffLink User ID.
StaffLink ID forgotten
If you have a StaffLink ID, it will be displayed on your ClinConnect profile. Contact your education provider to get your StaffLink ID. If you’re on a placement, your student supervisor will also be able to see your StaffLink ID in ClinConnect.
How to Identity and Access Management in StaffLink ?
The user provisioning solution for NSW Health provides a process by which the user identity and role based information is provisioned from the StaffLink (HRIS) application to Active Directory. The Identity Management Solution provides StaffLink with a controlled mechanism for giving and deleting user identities that are both secure and auditable.
StaffLink ID is the resource for assigning unique identifiers to all NSW health staff and initiating the provision of access to IT systems. Identity Management solution utilises the creation/modification/deletion of new identities in HRIS (i.e. hire/transfer/modify/terminate) to trigger provisioning events to the various applications that compose the solution for NSW Health.
End Users can also use the Identity Management solutions self-service functionality to manage their password resets and security questions.

Oracle Financials and Procurement StaffLink (FMIS)
In April 2014, the Oracle Financials and Procurement StaffLink system was re-implemented in the Email. This was necessary to support the financing and procurement functions through the latest supported version of Oracle e-Business Suite and to provide a solution to the users meets the current NSW Health business model.
The system provides new, enhanced functionality for Financials, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable Working, Cashiering, Invoice Scanning, Purchasing and Procurement.
The online procurement system, iProcurement, was introduced and NSW Health is providing significant benefits to 18,000 applicants working in the public system, including the ability to order from catalogs the next key information including price is current and relevant.
How to Asset and Facilities Management (AFM Online) on StaffLink ?
Corporate IT has implemented a new Asset and Facilities Information Management system, AFM Online to improve how the assets and facilities of NSW Health are managed to ensure they are available in the right condition, at the right time and in the right place for the best patient care.
AFM Online is designed to give asset and facilities management and biomedical engineering staff the tools to manage maintenance, inspection scheduling, testing of medical equipment and other assets and facilities in an economical and timely manner.
By standardizing systems and processes for asset and facilities management across the state, the implementation of AFM Online should provide greater certainty for patients and physicians who are well versed in assets and facilities will be available when and where needed.

How to Save EOL to your Android mobile or tablet device ?
- Open the Chrome internet browser on your mobile or tablet device.
- Select on your LHD specific EOL Mobile link into the address bar.
- The EOL Mobile login screen appears.
- At the top of the screen select the 3 dots then click it (ellipsis).
– A drop down menu appears - Choose on the Add to Home screen from the menu.
– The EOL Icon appears - Edit shortcut name if required.
- Select Add.
- The Employee Online (EOL) icon will now display on your home screen.
- You may need to scroll or search for a new icon as it may be saved on a secondary page.
Access EOL on Your Android Devices users
- Select the EOL icon.
- Enter your StaffLink Number and Password.
- Click on the ‘remember me’ button to allow quicker login in future.
Save EOL to StaffLink Homescreen on Apple iOS users
- Open the Safari internet browser on your mobile or tablet device.
- The EOL link cannot be added to the home screen (only bookmarked) if Chrome is used on Apple iOS devices.
- Select in your LHD specific EOL Mobile link into the address bar.
- The EOL Mobile login screen appears.If a pop-up appears asking you to Increase Database Size, click Increase.
- At the bottom of the screen click the More Actions icon on your device.
- Select Add to Home Screen.
- The Add to Home Screen displays.
- Edit shortcut name if required.
- Select Add.
- The Employee Online (EOL) will now display on the your home screen.
- You may need to scroll or search for a new icon as it may be saved on a secondary page.
Access EOL on Your Device (Apple iOS users)
- Select the EOL icon.

StaffLink ID and Password Emails
Students are emailed their StaffLink ID and a password creation link 13 days before their first placement. The email is sent to their Education Provider issued email address or the email address they registered with their Education Provider.
Students will continue to use the same StaffLink ID for life. Returning students and NSW Health staff members are not sent emails because they should already be aware of their StaffLink ID. Returning students should assume their StaffLink ID has been reactivated when returning for another placement.
They can test this by trying to log into My Health Learning. If students don’t remember their password, they can try resetting it via the Forgot Your Password link available on the password entry page. If that doesn’t work or they can’t remember the answer to their secret questions, they will need to contact the State-Wide Service Desk on 1300 28 55 33 and ask them to send them a password creation/reset link.

How to contact the StaffLink SWSD – State Wide Service Desk ?
Students may need to contact the State-Wide Service Desk to:
- Have their password reset for HETI Online.
- Activate their account if they have tried too many times to log into HETI Online.
- Are having trouble logging into HETI Online.
Process
- Call 1300 28 55 33.
- Enter State-Wide Service Desk may ask you to confirm your Date of Birth to confirm who you.
- Enter your StaffLink ID on the phone key pad and press #.
- When a person answers, they will ask for your phone number. This is in case the call gets cut off. You can give them a mobile phone number.
- The State-Wide Service Desk may ask you to confirm your StaffLink ID.
- The State-Wide Service Desk may ask you to confirm your Date of Birth to confirm who you say you are.
- Tell them you’re a student studying at [University/Tafe or Training Organisation] and you are having trouble logging into/HETI Online.
- Be prepared to tell them:
– The address of the website you are trying to log into
– Which details you are using to try to login
– What is happening after you click the login button is a message displayed or does nothing seem to happen - If the State-Wide Service Desk cannot assist you, they will either forward your query onto the HETI Online Team or the ClinConnect.
- Team or ask you to contact someone else.
- The State-Wide Service Desk will then give you a ticket number.
- Write down this ticket number.
- Only when your query has been resolved, will the ticket be closed.
