Resetting your forgotten password

- Type your user name and click Continue.
- An email will be sent to your email address with instructions for resetting your password.
- The reset password link expires in 30 minutes.

- The IBM Security Verification sign in will display in your browser.
- Enter your new password, then enter your password for confirmation.
- Click Change Password.
- An email is sent to your registered email address that confirms that your password is reset.
- Click Return Home to sign in with your new password.
Note: If your new password does not meet the minimum password length, or number of alphabets, numeric and special characters, a message is displayed. Follow the guide when you are asked.
How to Configuring IBM email (SMTP) server settings?
Configure the server to send email notifications to work item owners and subscribers to report changes. Create a server to send email messages inviting users to join teams. This capability is disabled by default.
SMTP server settings
- Log in to the Administration page of the John Team Server. Point your web browser to https://[fully qualified hostname]:9443/jts/admin
– The [fully qualified hostname] is the host name along with the DNS domain reference of the machine on which the John Team Server is installed. - On the Administration page, click the Server tab.
- In the Configuration pane, click E-mail Settings.
- On the Email Settings page, complete the following information:
– Enable E-mail Notification: select true from the list. This property provides a global switch to enable email notifications.
– SMTP Server: enter the server name. For example, smtp.example.com.
– Port: enter the port to use for the SMTP server. Typically, 25 is the default port number.
– SMTP Username: enter the user name that the John server uses to authenticate with the SMTP server.
– SMTP Password: choose the password for SMTP authentication. - Specified list of users to email notifications:
– Restrict to Whitelist: select true from the list.
– Whitelist: select the email addresses that can receive notifications. - You can use wildcard characters to specify patterns in which an asterisk (*) matches any number of characters and a question mark (?) matches a single character.
- Provide a current value for the following fields:
– E-mail From Address: enter the sender email address for email notifications, for example, john-user@example.com.
– E-mail From Name: enter the sender user name for email notifications.
– SMTP Reply Address: enter the address that receives email notification replies.
– Use STARTTLS: select true from the list to issue a STARTTLS command before authentication. - Click Save.
- Click Send Test Email to test the connection.
Configure IBM Lotus iNotes email client
- Open the Lotus Notes Desktop application.
- In Lotus Notes Welcome Window click on Next button.
- Proceed by filling in your name and Domino Server name in the User Information window.
- In Additional Services Window one of the options must be checked to continue the process of configuration, After check one of the given options click on Next.
- Setup Internet Mail window Select POP or IMAP as required and provide incoming mail server name.
- In Setup Internet mail Window provide the Account Name and the Password and click on Next.
- Name the outgoing SMTP mail server, click Next.
- Fill the E-mail address and Internet Domain name then click on Next.

- Click on the Open option and select Contacts.
- Select the Advanced option.
- Double click on Outgoing Internet mail.
- Click on Edit Account.
- Fill the Login Name and the Password fields and click on save and close.

Configuring Your Browser To Send E-mail
To send an e-mail from your browser, you first need to specify your identity (i.e. your e-mail address), and your SMTP server and your browser needs to be notified (ie outgoing mail server). They are located in EMEA, and are served by the United Kingdom Data Center, your SMTP server name is relay.de.ibm.com.
If you are located in EMEA, and are served by a German data center, your SMTP server name is relay.de.ibm.com. If you are located elsewhere e.g. Your SMTP for US, Canada The server name is relay.us.ibm.com.
How to Configuring IMAP client software in IBM?
After you set up the IBM Domino Server to run the IMAP service, users access their mail files any IMAP mail on the Domino server. The IMAP service supports all IMAP-compatible customers, for example, Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express.
IMAP clients display IBM Notes folders as IMAP mailboxes. When users receive or delete documents in the IMAP mailbox.
Users can access their mail files from both IMAP client and Notes mail client. Domino IMAP Client Send other note users and IMAP and POP3 clients to the Domino Mail system or other mail systems.

General IMAP client requirements
- Incoming Mail Server: The fully qualified host name of the Domino server running the IMAP service.
- Outgoing mail server: SMTP The fully qualified host name of the running serve, The SMTP server will be a Domino server running the IMAP service, a separate Domino server or a non-Domino SMTP server.
- Authentication required to send outbound mail: Specifies whether the configured SMTP server requires users to provide a name and password before they can send outgoing messages.
- Account / Login Name: The name by which the user authenticates with the Domino server. Username values are set in the Internet authentication area of the server document.
- Password: The Internet password from the user’s Person document.
- E-mail address: The Internet address specified in the user’s Person document.
- Check for messages every minutes: Determines how often the client checks for mail. If the client checks for mail more often, it affects the server.
- Folder Namespace Prefix: A folder required by some IMAP clients. IMAP clients do not need to specify folder prefixes through the Domino IMAP service to connect to mail files.
Configuring Microsoft Outlook on IBM
- At the Welcome to Microsoft Outlook dialog box.
- Click on Next button.
- At “Do you want to setup outlook to connect to an email account?”, choose Yes and click next.
- At the next screen, ignore the detail and choose Manual Setup or Additional Server types and click next.
- Choose Other, then IBM Mail Sync (if this option isn’t visible, you didn’t install the software properly).
- And then click Next.
- On the next screen, you need to put in your name and email address.
- Then choose the server type of IBM Connections Cloud and click Next.
- The IBM Mail/Connections login page will appear in a window.
- Type your email and password.
- If all goes well, you should see a screen of green buttons.
Export and Import IBM Webmail
When you export content for further legal review, the content is not deleted from the case or from the content server. EDiscovery Manager creates a copy of the content and that copy is saved in an export file. After export, the content still exists on the case and the content server.
Select the content to export in one of the following ways, and then click the export icon.
- To export content to all folders.
Select the folders in the navigation pane and then click the Export icon. - To export content to multiple folders.
