If you are a student or PGR, you can reset or forget your password through the Brunel Password Portal. Before you can reset your password, you need to register by entering a series of security questions. If you have not registered for this service, it is important that you do so as soon as possible. How to Configure Brunel Email on Windows 8 ?
Windows 8 Mail is set up to verify your Office 365 email account so you can configure your email on Windows 8 by following these steps.
- Click the Mail application to get started.
- Login to your Microsoft account and you will need to create an account first if you do not already have one.
- Click on Exchange option.
- Enter your email address and password.
- Click on the Show more details option.
- Enter Outlook office365.com in the Server Address field.
- Enter your username, username and username in the username field for example john@gmail.com.
- Click on the ‘Connect’ option.
Setup webmail Brunel on Android Device

- First you click on your settings from the home screen.

- The University reserves the right to delete the phone data if the phone is lost or tampered with.
- The university will only implement if it is advised that the phone has been stolen.
- Click OK button.

- Click Activate to accept security terms.
- Here you can choose how often the device looks for mail and exactly what you want to sync with your Emitter account.
- You should then be asked to specify an account name.
- Click Done button.
How to Setup Brunel student email iOS Mail for Office 365 ?
- First open your ‘Settings’ option device (setting, contact, calendar etc option).
- Scroll down and select ‘Accounts & Passwords’ option.
- And Scroll down and select ‘Add Account’ option (add account, new fetch data etc).
- Select ‘Exchange’ button (icloud, exchange, google yahoo etc).
- Enter your username@brunel.uk and a description for the account (in this example Office 365).
- Then select Next button.
- The next window will ask you to sign whatever you do.
- Select Sign In button.
- Enter your Username in the format: username@brunel.uk.
- Enter your email password (this is the same as your MyEd login password).
- Sign in and then Save password.
- Select the services you wish to use with your Office 365 account, then select Save option.

How to Setup Brunel university webmail on Outlook for Windows ?
All members or students of the College use Outlook to access their emails. Outlook can also be accessed from the web, or the client can be installed on your PC, Mac, iOS or Android device. Outlook must be pre-installed on a college PC for easy access to your emails.
If you use another application, such as the Gmail app or the native mobile app, to access your emails, you’ll need to set an app password.
If you do not have applications fee installed on your device, you will need to log in to Office 365 and select ‘Install Office 365’ from the top right corner of the home page to be installed on your device.
Follow these steps to set up your account once downloaded:
- First open your Open Outlook and you will be shown a screen with a screen.

- You click Sign In for a dialog box that asks you to enter your password.
- The screen will display ‘Use this account everywhere on your device’.
- Make sure the ‘Allow my organization to manage my device’ check is checked and click ‘Yes’ option.

Forward email from Gmail account to webmail Brunel
- Open your University Gmail account on your computer.
- At the top right of the screen there will be a settings symbol which looks like a cog. Click on it.
- Click the ‘Settings’ option in the menu that appears.
- Then click Forwarding and POP / IMAP tab.
- In your “Forwarding” section, click Add a forwarding address.
- Enter the email address of the messages you want to forward and click ‘Next’ button.
- Proceed to the pop-up box and then click OK button.
- A verification message will be sent to that email address by clicking the verification link of the received message.
- This will launch a web page requesting confirmation.
- Click Confirm to allow Gmail to send emails to that forwarding address.
- Select to forward a copy of the incoming mail and select the email address that you want to forward.
- Now choose what you want to be from the Gmail version of your emails. To make sure you always have a secure copy of the emails you receive, keep an eye on your emails from your University Gmail account.
- At the bottom of the page, click Save Changes.
- Your emails will now be sent to your chosen email destination.

How much money will be needed on top of the fee
If you want to apply for a student visa to study at Brunel, you must meet the finance requirements in the visa application. You have enough money to support yourself when you are in the UK.
In addition to the first-year tuition fees, when applying for a student visa for Brunel University London, you must show that you spend £1,334 per month (maximum nine months, or, £12,006) per month for each of your courses.
If you have applied to live in on-campus accommodation, the maximum amount you can deduct from the living expenses part of the financial requirement of your visa application will now be £1,334.
Students must not pay the university more than £1,334 for accommodation before arriving in the UK. Instead you should retain more accommodation payments in your bank account, to support your visa application.
