– Exchange Server Name: The Exchange Server field will not appear until you enter your username and password.

- Students can access their accounts directly on webmail.bcsdschool.net or students will access their accounts by going to bcsdschools.net or clicking on the HHS webpage.
- Then enter your ‘username@bcsdschool.net‘ and your student.
- Enter your computer login number (eg 00012345).
- Once you count the time, set the correct time zone (Eastern); Then click the Save button.
- Once logged in you will see your Inbox and other options like Calendar and OneDrive.
- Click on it to create a new email then enter the teacher’s or student’s email address.
- To attach a file, click the Insert button.
- You can now send the file as an attachment or even upload it to OneDrive for modification by others.

Set BCSD email message importance and other option
- The priority of the message is to advise the recipients and to do it as high or low importance.
- High or low designated messages are given general importance.
- To set the importance level of the message, click Import or Highlight buttons on the toolbar.

- Select Delivery Receipt and Request Delivery Receipt for this message.

After you have completed your message, click on the spelling icon to check the spelling. A dialog box will pop up indicating that documents check for errors. If you did not select the signature option with outgoing messages, you can add your signature by clicking the ‘Signature’ button and the signature will be added to your e-mail message.

After you complete your message and send it to the appropriate recipients, click the ‘Send’ button. After sending the message, you return to the mailbox viewer. And the items sent after the message is sent to the folder.
Save message (draft)
You can save the message in a draft to resend or finish later. Open your new message form. Click the ‘Save’ button on the toolbar. And you have to save the message in the Drafts folder. You can access the Drafts folder by clicking on the folders group on the Outlook bar.

Create a New Rule
- From the Rules screen, click on the ‘New’ button.
- At the screen for Rule Name, enter the name you want to give that rule.
- Under the heading When following a message arrives, select the appropriate criteria for your rule:
– From field: This rule is based on the sender. You can either type the e-mail address of the sender or lookup the information from your address book by clicking on the icon.
– The contents of the Subject Line: This rule is based on the contents of the Subject Line. You can specify words from the Subject line to setup this rule.
– The Importance: This rule is based on the importance of a message. Depending on the High or Low importance of a message, you could set this rule.
– Recipients Information: This rule is based on the recipients e-mail address. You can either type the e-mail address of the recipient or lookup the information from your address book by clicking on the icon.
– Based on you being the only recipient of the message: This rule is based only for those messages that are specifically sent to you. To set this rule, select the Sent only to me check box. - Under the heading Then, select the appropriate action that needs to be taken for your rule:
– Move: Based on the above criteria, this action will move the message to the specified folder.
– Copy: Based on the above criteria, this action will copy the message to the specified folder.
– Delete: Based on the above criteria, this action will delete the message.
– Forward: Based on the above criteria, this action will forward a copy of the message. You can either type the e-mail address of the recipient or lookup the information from your address book by clicking on the icon. - Click ‘Save and Close‘ button.
Update a Rule
- Double click the Rule you wish to edit.
- To change or add any information, type new text over the existing text.
- Click ‘Save and Close‘ button.
Delete a Rule
- Select the Rule you wish to delete.
- Click the “Delete Button” from the toolbar.

What is BCSD ?
