- Make APS a contact: Add membership@aps.org as a saved contact or add them to your email address book.
- Set APS Safe: By requesting your IT department, the sender will allow APS to send IP 13.111.63.126 and aps.org domains.
Gmail
- Click the gear icon in the top right and click on the Settings option.
- At the top, click Filters and Blocked Addresses and create a new filter.
- Add aps.org, directvote.net, per field.
- Select on “Never send spam” and create a filter.
Outlook
- At the top right, click on the gear icon and select Settings options.
- Click Rescue Junk and then Safe and Block Senders.
- Add aps.org and directvote.net, click Add to list and select Safe Senders.
How to Setup APS Student Email On Your Phone?
- On your phone go to you would add a new email account.
- When you go to setup a new email account, it should prompt you on whether you want to setup a POP email account or an IMAP email account.
– A POP email account will delete the email messages from your web-based inbox after it has been delivered to your phone.
– An IMAP email account keeps a copy of all your email messages on your webbased inbox even if it has already been delivered to your phone. - APS recommend using the IMAP setting to ensure that you have a backup of your email in case an unforeseen event happens and you lose your phone or it malfunctions.

- If your phone allows you to enter the port number “995” for POP or “993” for IMAP.
- It will ask for your outgoing mail server or SMTP server settings.
- If your phone gives you encryption method select “TLS” for both POP email and IMAP email.

How to Setup and Configure Microsoft Outlook Express on APS ?
- First click on Accounts from the Tools menu.
- On the Mail tab, click Add, then tap Mail.
- You will see a screen series called Internet Connection Wizard.
- The first screen displays your real name in the Inbox as the way you display it in your outgoing messages.
- The next screen will prompt you to enter your full email address (for example, username@aps.net).
- Select POP3 from the pull-down menu on the next screen.
- Enter your POP3 host (for example, mail.aps.net) into the Incoming Mail Server box, and your SMTP server in the Outgoing Mail Server box.
- Select Log On Using POP Account Name.
- You must enter your username (part of your email address before the “@” symbol) and your password.
- Clicking next will prompt you to enter a “friendly name” for the email account.
- Choose your last method of connecting to the Internet.
