- Enter your UserID and Password in the field.
- And click on the ‘Login’ button.
How to Forgot, Reset or Enroll/Re Enroll/Change questions on ACU?
Before accessing your ACU email account, they recommend you reset your password or forgot password:
- First Go to ssrpm.acu.edu.au weblink.
- Click on the ‘Enrol into SSRPM’ and complete steps below:
– Username: enter your Student ID Number in the field.
– Password: choose your Date of Birth (DDMMYYYY) in birthday area.
– Choose option: select ‘Student’ from the drop down box.
– Click on the ‘Continue’ button.
– Choose three security questions from the options given and create answers.
– Select ‘Enrol’.
– Last click ‘Home’ option. - To reset password, then click ‘Reset Password’ and complete steps below:
– Enter your Student ID Number and select ‘Student’ from the drop down menu.
– Click ‘Continue’.
– Answer your security questions.
– Enter new password, which must be eight digits.
– Ensure you choose a ‘secure’ password a mixture of numerals and letters is best, symbols such as &#% will not be accepted.
– Click on the Reset Password button. - Once you have reset the password for your Network Login, it will be synchronized with all your ACU accounts, including email, Student Connect, Tutorial Direct and LEO.
To access ACU email
- Go to outlook.com/myacu.edu.au weblink.
- If you have another account that uses Microsoft Outlook, eg Hotmail, you will need to select Log in with a different account.
- Enter your username in the Windows Live ID box, this is your Student ID Number followed by myacu.edu.au (eg xxxx@myacu.edu.au).
- Enter your password or the new password you just created as above.
- You will be directed to Microsoft Outlook security questions and setup options.
- Follow the prompts through until you successfully access your emails.
- If you have followed the guide on this page and still cannot access your emails, contact the Student Centre.
Setup ACU Email IMAP Server Settings
Most modern email software will automatically configure your mail server settings when you enter your ACU account information.
If your email software is older, you can manually enter mail server settings by using the following IMAP information.
- Server name: outlook.office365.com
- Username: username@acu.edu.au
- Port: 993
- Encryption method: TLS
- Authentication method: OAuth2
SMTP server setting information will appear automatically. POP server settings are disabled by default.
Every ACU staffs member is provided with an Outlook email address. Accounts are supplied and managed by Information Technology Services.
There are two ways you can check your ACU email. You can access emails:
- On any device through the Outlook Web App.
- Via a program installed on your computer or device.
All users follow the same instructions for setting up the Outlook Web App. To set up email via a program on your device, follow the instructions or guides for your operating system.
How to Setup and Configure ACU Email on Outlook Web App?
To set up ACU webmail in the ACU dashboard for the first time:
- First Go to or visit portal.office.com.
- Enter your ACU account username in the email address field, using the format username@acu.edu.au. For example, yourname@acu.edu.au.
- Click on the Next button.
- The ACU Authenticate screen will appear.
- Enter your ACU account username and password and click Login button.
- Answer the Stay signed in question.
- If you use a shared computer, and it’s safest to answer No.
- Choose on ‘Outlook’ from the list of apps.
- Select your location and language settings.
- Click on the Save to complete the process.
How to Setup and Configure ACU Email on Windows?
The Windows users should setup their email address through Outlook 365.
Outlook 365
An account setup wizard will walk you through the step process.
- First Open Outlook 365 on your device.
- Your ACU email account should be automatically detected.
- If not, enter your ACU account username in the Email address in the field using the format username@acu.edu.au.
- Click on the Connect.
- Select Microsoft 365.
- Enter ACU username and password in the ACU Authenticate window.
- Then click on the Login button.
- When Account successfully added message appears.
- Then click on the Done button.
Setup after changing account
If you have changed your ACU email address, name or you have a problem with Outlook that can not be fixed another way, and you may need to remove your account and set up Outlook again.
- Submit an IT request to remove your profile.
- After your profile has been removed, open Outlook.
- Enter a profile name and select OK button, this profile name can be anything.
- Your ACU email account should be automatically detected.
- If not, enter your ACU account username in the Email address in the field using the format username@acu.edu.au. for example, yourname@acu.edu.au.
- Click Connect.
- Select Microsoft 365.
- Enter your ACU username and password in the ACU Authenticate window, then click Login button.
- When Account successfully added message appears.
- Click on the Done button.
Setup and Configure ACU Email on macOS for Mac
The Windows users should setup their email address through Outlook 365.

- First Open Outlook 365 on your device.
- Click Get Started option.
- Click on the Sign In button.
- Enter ACU account username in the Email Address field and use the format username@acu.edu.au. For example, yourname3@acu.edu.au.
- Select Continue button.
- Enter ACU username and password in the ACU Authenticate window.
- Then click on the Login button.
- Follow the prompts to complete the email account setup. Once setup is complete.
- Click Done.
Configure ACU Email Account on iOS for iPhone and iPad
The Windows users should setup their email address through Outlook 365.

- Download the Outlook app from the App Store.
- Open the Outlook app on your device.
- Enter ACU account username in the Email Address field and use the format username@acu.edu.au. For example, yourname3@acu.edu.au.
- Tap Add Account option.
- You’ll be taken to the ACU Authenticate portal.
- Enter your usual ACU account username and password in the field.
- And click Login.
- Follow the prompts to finish setting up your account.
These instructions are for iOS 13.
- Open the settings app on your device (cog icon) and select Passwords & Accounts option.
- Click on the Add Account option, then select Microsoft Exchange.
- Enter ACU account username in the Email Address field and use the format username@acu.edu.au. For example, yourname3@acu.edu.au.
- Enter a description of the account in the Description field.
- Then tap Next button.
- Click on the Sign In button.
- You’ll be taken to the ACU Authenticate portal.
- Enter your usual ACU account username and password and click Login.
- Press Accept on the ‘Permissions requested’ screen.
- Select the apps you want to sync with your email account.
- Last click on the Save button.
Export & Import Calendar on ACU webmail
Ensure you are logged in to the computer as yourself as when you open Outlook it will open as the user logged in to the computer. The import or export will not work from webmail, only from the Outlook application.
- Open Outlook and click the calendar button at the bottom left of the page.
- Click Next button.
- Depending on the version of Outlook, this step is slightly different.
Outlook 2010 Version
- Click on the File menu in Outlook.
- Select Open option and then click on Import button.
- Click the Browse button and find the file you need to import.
- Click Next again.
- Then click Finish.
Outlook 2013 Version
- Click on the File menu in Outlook.
- Select Open & Export option and then click on Import/Export.
- Select Import from another program or file.
- And click Next.
- Select Comma Separated Values and click Next.
- Click the Browse button and find the file you need to import.
- Click Next again.
- Then click Finish.
Export a spreadsheet to manually enter grades in ACU
- From Grades Export > Excel spreadsheet, tick just the one manual assessment item you would like to manually grade.
- Expand the Export format options section.
- If you are giving a written response to the assessment, check the ‘Include feedback in export’ checkbox.
- In most cases you will import the raw icon (whatever format you display to students), so just tick the ‘Real’ checkbox in ‘Grade Export Display Type’.

What is ACU – LEO?
LEO is an acronym for Learning Environment Online. It is the online learning ecosystem at ACU (The Australian Catholic University).
LEO is a suite of technologies and applications that support learning and learning built on a foundation using the Moodle Learning Management System (LMS). As a new or ongoing academic it is important to become familiar with how to access and navigate LEO.
LEO is where lecturers will upload resources for their students and create learning activities such as Forums, Lessons and Quizzes. Assessment, feedback and marking will also be done through LEO in most cases.
ACU – How to log in to LEO ?
Wherever you are, if you have internet access, you should be able to access LEO on ACU (The Australian Catholic University).
LEO can be accessed via the student portal or directly by type leo.acu.edu.au into the address bar of your browser. They recommend bookmarking this page.

There are numerous links to Leo throughout the ACU website, including a link to current students located.
- To access LEO, click on the Current Students link.
- Enter your User ID and password to log into LEO.
- In the Student Portal, click on Units and Results in the left menu.
- Then select the LEO button on the right.
How to Create a quiz activity on LEO?

- Navigate to your unit in LEO and click the Turn editing on button.
- Scroll down to the section of your LEO unit where you want the quiz to appear (e.g., Assessments).
- Then click the Add an activity or resource link.
- From the activities options available, click the Quiz button.
- Enter a Name for your quiz.
- It is also useful to enter text in the Description field, so that your students know what the quiz is about, or the reason they are being asked to complete it.
- Click the box next to the description to display the description on the unit page, if you want the description to be visible from the main page of your LEO unit.
- Modify any additional settings you require.
- You can expand the sections and view available settings by clicking on the section heading titles.
- Click on Save and return to unit when finished to return to the main page of your LEO unit.
- You can now add questions to your quiz activity and customize the quiz layout.

What is ACU ?
